A local council is seeking a part-time Function Manager to manage events at historic venues. Are you passionate about historic venues and event management? We have a vacancy for confident and proactive part‑time Function Managers to join our friendly Bath’s Historic Venues Team.
The team deliver all private and ticketed events at the Roman Baths & Pump Room, the Guildhall, Victoria Art Gallery and Heritage Parks. Events can range from proposals, weddings, conferences, concerts, dinners and drinks receptions and parties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that organises unique events in a portfolio of extraordinary venues.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the on‑site delivery of events to a high standard, balancing creating unforgettable experiences alongside protection of our historic buildings and maintaining health & safety standards for all on site.
We’re seeking seasoned event professionals who are not only experienced in managing events but are also genuinely passionate about providing an outstanding, five‑star customer experience. This role demands a commitment to excellence and a dedication to ensuring that every event attendee has a memorable and seamless experience.
Ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of our clients and guests.
