Job summary

Teesdale Renewables Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform general electrical services and renewable installations across local projects in the North East.

You will work on domestic and commercial properties, installing Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging points while maintaining high workmanship and safety standards. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition regulations, with preferred, not mandatory, training in Solar PV and related renewables.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certified.
• Solid experience in general domestic and commercial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Experience with Solar PV, Battery Storage or EV Charging preferred but training can be provided.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and fault finding on domestic & commercial properties.
• Install, commission, and connect renewable energy systems (Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging points).
• Complete inspection, testing, and compliance certification accurately for all jobs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer service, and site health & safety.
• Work independently or as part of a team across regional job sites.

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled, fully qualified Electrician to carry out general electrical services as well as renewable installations across local projects.
