Qualifications

• First or Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant physical science, engineering or technology discipline.
• Desirable: knowledge of optical, wireless or optical wireless communications.
• Desirable: experience in data networks, digital/analogue signal processing or mobile communications.

Responsibilities

• Undertake theoretical and/or experimental research under supervision of DSP Centre academics.
• Publish research findings in leading journals and conferences.
• Present work at project meetings, workshops and conferences.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Support research proposal development.
• Assist with undergraduate project supervision.
• Attend relevant training and development activities.
