Job summary

MBDA invites applications for a Finance Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship starting September 2027 at our Stevenage site. You will begin with a Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification delivered by BPP, followed by a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting with AAT.

Placements span at least two Finance functions, with on-site presence 2–3 days a week. The scheme includes paid travel to study locations, fully funded qualifications, annual pay reviews, 25 days annual leave plus flexi leave, and

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum of 5 at grades 9-4 including English Language, Mathematics and a Science/Technology subject.
• Must complete and pass a basic 4-day pre-assessment with BPP to begin AAT Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Complete Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification (18 months) and Level 4 Diploma (18 months) with AAT.
• Undertake placements within at least two Finance functions; onsite 2–3 days per week during placements.
• Final 12 months to work full-time to gain practical experience.
