Job summary

PKF Francis Clark is offering an ACA Trainee Accountant programme in Exeter. The role is full-time and permanent with a starting salary of £25,000. The firm funds the ACA qualification and provides study support, mentoring, and development opportunities within a Professional Practices team.

You will work with diverse clients across accounts, audits, taxes and advisory work, gaining hands-on experience from day one and advancing toward Chartered Accountant status in around three years.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in any subject is required.
• 112 UCAS points from three A Levels or equivalent are required.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above are required.

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation and financial reporting.
• Audit, including statutory and client money audits.
• Partnership, company and personal tax.
• VAT and company secretarial work.
• Management accounts.
• Financial analysis, forecasts and projections.
• Advising clients on financial and commercial challenges.
