Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal Year 3 pupil at a Bootle primary school.

You will provide tailored support, encourage communication and independence, and help the pupil engage with classroom learning. Experience with SEND is preferred, and knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or alternative communication methods is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton or alternative communication methods desirable.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
