Known worldwide as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford offers a charming blend of history and beauty. The practice is about to undergo an exciting rebrand and will have excellent facilities to provide outstanding care for patients. They have earned a strong local reputation and enjoy a varied caseload from a loyal client base. You’ll experience the independence of a small practice with the support of a collaborative and friendly team and generous CPD support to help you achieve your career goals.

They are seeking a motivated and experienced vet who wants to make a genuine impact on the practice. You’ll help them stay at the forefront of clinical thinking while continuing a mission to always put pets first.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of care with a focus on patient welfare.
  • Help the practice stay at the forefront of clinical thinking and best practices.
  • Manage routine consultations and sole charge when required.
  • Contribute to emergency or urgent care as needed, leveraging prior experience in emergency surgery.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients; work as part of a collaborative, team‑focused environment.
Qualifications
  • Solid surgical and medical skills.
  • Some experience in emergency surgery.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team‑focused attitude.
Position details
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • 1 in 4 weekends included.
  • Occasional sole charge; no out-of-hours work.
