Teaching Assistant roles across Bristol

Pay: £89–£95 per day
Location: Bristol, with placements close to where you live. Driving not required, but always appreciated.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils in lessons, help maintain focus and engagement and work alongside teachers to make learning run smoothly. The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll help pupils stay engaged in class, reinforce learning tasks and encourage positive behaviour. Activities are fully guided by the class teacher, so no planning is required. Your role is simply to support, encourage and bring a calm, positive presence to the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with young people and brings patience, reliability and enthusiasm into the room. This role suits anyone who wants to work full‑time in schools and support pupils’ educational and emotional development. The ideal candidate is reliable, calling into our office on their available days, up and ready to support schools with emergency cover. The ideal candidate is also open to long‑term, full‑time roles (as these often become available).

We especially welcome people with experience in youth work, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, drama, childcare, summer camps or any people‑focused setting. You must be reliable, confident, patient and willing to learn, with the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
