SEN Teacher – Specialist SEND School

We’re looking for an inspiring and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a fantastic specialist school supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs — including autism, complex learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering creative, personalised lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support holistic progress

  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates every achievement
  • Tracking progress and contributing to EHCP targets and reviews
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND (ASD, PMLD, SLD, or SEMH)
  • A flexible, nurturing approach and strong behaviour management skills
  • A team player with patience, empathy, and a good sense of humour
