We’re supporting a welcoming secondary school in Horfield that’s looking for a full-time Science Teacher to join them from January. This is a general Science role teaching KS3 and KS4 across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with full planning and marking included.
You’ll be teaching mixed-ability groups across Years 7 to 11. The department has clear schemes of work in place, and you’ll have access to shared resources, practical equipment, and well-organised lab spaces. Lessons are structured around strong routines that help students stay focused, and the school promotes consistent expectations across all subjects.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Science and the broader team, contributing to planning, assessments, and occasional departmental meetings. There is a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, positive relationships, and giving every student the chance to succeed.
