Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is recruiting for full-time Packing Operatives to join the Bulk Pork Packing Department at Westerleigh. You will learn new skills, receive role-specific training, and rotate across areas such as the box room, freezer lines, and carousel while ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Reporting to the Bulk Pork Packing Supervisor, you will work Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:30, at Westerleigh BS37 8QZ.

Qualifications

• Food production experience desirable, training provided.
• Willingness to learn in semi-skilled roles.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet production deadlines by performing tasks to the best of abilities.
• Seek training to maintain skills and stay up to date with best practice.
• Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Maintain equipment and report faults to management promptly.
• Carry out other duties to meet business needs.
• Be flexible and handle non routine situations.
