Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in Chelmsford is seeking a full-time Specialty Doctor to provide high-quality medical input to Community Perinatal services across Essex.

You will join a multidisciplinary team supporting women with mental health illnesses in pregnancy and postnatally, covering North Essex hospitals including Princess Alexandra, Colchester General and Broomfield. GMC registration and Section 12 approval are required.

Qualifications

• Eligible for full GMC registration at time of appointment.
• Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983 is required.
• Evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at application time.
• Likelihood of achieving CT2 competences by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical input to Community Perinatal services.
• Cover needs across North Essex, including Chelmsford and linked hospital areas.
• Support multidisciplinary care for women with mental health illnesses in pregnancy and postnatally.
