Job summary

Sanford Health in the outpatient PT setting seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to plan, organize and deliver therapy programs that improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent deformities. You will conduct evaluations, set therapeutic plans and educate patients and families on home exercises.

Ability to document per departmental guidelines, adapt plans, and supervise support staff as needed is required. The role may involve coordinating with providers and case managers to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within 60 days.
• Driver's license may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Documents evaluations and therapeutic plans, adjusting as needed.
• Educates clients and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• Supervises assistants, aides, and students as needed and shares expertise.
