Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Colwyn Bay is recruiting a Salaried GP on a permanent full-time contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) at West End Medical Centre. The role covers a wide range of primary care duties, including consultations and clinical governance.

The NHS Wales employer offers a supportive environment within North Wales, with opportunities for professional development and family-friendly policies. Applicants may be eligible for visa sponsorship where needed.

Competenze

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register.
• CCT in General Practice / CEGPR, or equivalent.
• Included on Medical Performers List or eligible.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• MRCGP.
• Other relevant specialist interests & skills.

Mansioni

• Deliver the full range of duties associated with a GP working in primary care, including face-to-face, telephone, video and electronic consultations.
• Undertake home visits where appropriate, manage referrals, correspondence, results and associated administration.
• Make professional and autonomous decisions regarding patient care in line with current guidelines.
• Identify disease risk factors, promote health and wellbeing, support public health initiatives, refer/admit/discharge patients as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, prescribe safely and contribute to audits and quality improvement.
• Attend governance meetings, support incident investigations and ensure compliance with NHS Wales standards.
