Job description

Full Time Nanny needed in Winchester, SO22

A lovely returning family to Harmony at Home Hampshire are looking for a qualified and experienced nanny to care for their two children, girls aged 1 and 6 years. This position is Monday to Friday 8.30am‑5.30pm. There is the option to have alternate Fridays off if the nanny would prefer this. The hours are the same all year round and this role is nursery duties only.

This position is mainly focused on caring for the youngest girl, with some occasional pick‑ups for the eldest from school, as well as care for her in the school holidays. The family love arts and crafts, being outdoors and the children enjoy attending sports classes. They are looking for someone nurturing, fun and loving to care for their children. The eldest has a severe sesame allergy, therefore alongside the usual paediatric first aid training, you will need Anaphylaxis training and understand how to use an EpiPen. The eldest daughter also attends some medical appointments in London/Southampton for a medical condition. This does not significantly affect her life and the parents attend all appointments, but the nanny would be required to gain an understanding of the condition from the parents.

This position is for a fixed term, until March/April 2027. There is a possibility that the role could extend beyond this for a few extra months, however the intention is for the position to last approximately 14 months, depending on start date.

The right candidate will be well experienced with babies, as well as having a level 3 or above qualification in childcare. The nanny must be able to drive, an automatic nanny car will be provided for use on duty. The family would like someone gentle and kind, who is able to teach the children valuable life skills whilst also holding important boundaries in behaviour and manners. They are keen for the nanny to take the little one out to baby classes/playgroups as well as on walks to the park etc.

Please apply asap to be considered for this lovely position, which is sure to be filled quickly!
