Job Overview

Full time Nanny required in Kintbury Berkshire (ID 864423). This lovely role has just become available for a friendly professional family looking for a nanny to work Monday‑Friday, 7.45am‑6/6.30pm.

The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and has a "can do" and positive approach. The role is sole charge for two children aged 5 and 7 and includes school runs, food preparation, cooking nutritious meals, batch cooking, nursery duties, keeping tidy, running errands, taking children to activities, helping with homework, organising playdates and clubs, giving supper, preparing them for bed, and ensuring safety until parents return.

Responsibilities

• Drive children to and from school (car available on duty if required).
• Prepare and cook meals, including batch cooking.
• Perform nursery duties and maintain tidy child areas, bedrooms, and playroom.
• Run errands and assist with household tasks as needed.
• Take children to activities, help with homework, and organise playdates/clubs.
• Give supper, prepare for bed, and supervise until parents return.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with children of similar age and in a similar role.
• Childcare qualifications not required.
• Current DBS on the update service.
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• At least two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer and who can be contacted immediately.
• Positive, organised, and proactive attitude.
• Driver’s licence and confidence driving (car provided if necessary).
• Experience with pets (one dog).
