Job summary

A kind and enthusiastic nanny is required for a family of four to care for twins aged 2 years in Totterdown, Bristol. The role runs 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, with meals, outings and nap times.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive and able to provide nutritious meals using fresh ingredients. Requirements include Paediatric First Aid, Level 3 in child care preferred, an enhanced DBS, two referees and the ability to engage in reading and outdoor activities while maintaining safe

Qualifications

• Paediatric First Aid certification is preferred/required.
• Level 3 in child care or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for 2-year-old twins from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Prepare and feed lunch, dinner and snacks using fresh ingredients.
• Take children to the playground/outings at least once daily.
• Put the twins down for their afternoon nap and tidy the playroom afterwards.
• Encourage reading, outdoor play and kind, active development.

A kind and enthusiastic Nanny is required for a family of four to care for twins aged 2 years.

The family are looking for a nanny who is engaging, nurturing and who acknowledges the children’s feelings and wishes but can also maintain firm and consistent boundaries. The role involves caring for the twins from 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, preparing and feeding them lunch, dinner and snacks and taking them out of the house, such as to a playground, at least once a day. You will also need to put them down for their afternoon nap and make sure their playroom is left tidy at the end of the day.

The twins are affectionate, bright, energetic children. They love reading, climbing and going to the playground. The girl is a cheeky, fun loving character and adores singing. The boy takes life more seriously, both the good and the bad. He laughs with his whole body and literally bounces with excitement but is more sensitive than his sister. The parents priority for the children’s development are learning to look for joy in life, helpfulness/kindness, being active and outside time and reading. They are both a little shy so attending social sessions like play group is particularly important for them.

They do not have any screen time and no sweets. They would like to find a nanny that is confident in providing healthy nutritious meals using fresh ingredients. The ideal candidate will be reliable, fun and with the proactivity to ask for support and the enthusiasm to implement it.
