A caring family in Maidenhead is seeking a full-time nanny-housekeeper to support both childcare and household duties. The ideal candidate will provide engaging activities for the children, collaborate with parents, and ensure children's well-being. A valid first aid qualification is essential. This is a full-time permanent role with a salary between £15 to £18 gross per hour.
This lovely family is looking for a full-time nanny-housekeeper to care for their baby and school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny-housekeeping duties and being an extra pair of hands for the mum, especially during evening and night routines. Childcare duties include supporting the family with all aspects of care for both children, engaging them in activities, supervising daily routines such as homework, learning, and play, overseeing bath and bedtime routines, collaborating with the parents to support the children’s well‑being and development, and occasionally collecting one child from school and transporting them home safely. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children from newborn to age six, be trustworthy, and able to build strong relationships with the children. They should be flexible, a self‑starter with a proactive attitude, able to work independently as well as follow instructions, and comfortable working alongside both parents. Being warm, fun, kind, and engaging is essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm/4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (20 to 25 hours per week). Additional support from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 10:00 am approximately one week per month (when husband is travelling). Opportunity to increase hours. Ad‑hoc babysitting available if desired.
Experience caring for children from newborn to age 6. Trustworthy, proactive, flexible, self‑starter, warm, fun, kind. Valid first aid qualification required.
