Job summary

Regional Construction in the United Kingdom is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Cleaner to cover Blackpool and Ormskirk. You will travel between sites in the company van, following the cleaning schedule, 40 hours per week, starting January 2027.

You will clean communal areas, entrances, corridors, stairwells, toilets and kitchens, vacuum, mop and dust surfaces, and manage waste. A full UK driving licence is required, with reporting of maintenance issues and progress records.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, entrances, corridors, stairwells and other designated spaces to a consistent standard.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors with cleaning equipment and products.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, doors and handrails.
• Clean shared toilets, washrooms and kitchen areas where provided.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste to designated areas.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and arrange replenishment via office.
• Keep van, equipment and storage areas tidy and secure.
• Report maintenance defects, safety concerns and vehicle or equipment faults promptly.
• Complete cleaning records and update office on progress and access issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear warning signs as required.
• Interact courteously with building users, colleagues and site contacts.

• Travelling between sites in Blackpool and Ormskirk in the company van, following the agreed cleaning schedule.
• Cleaning communal areas, entrances, corridors, stairwells and other designated spaces to a consistent standard.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning products.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, doors, handrails and frequently touched areas.
• Cleaning shared toilets, washrooms and kitchen areas where provided.
• Emptying bins, replacing liners and taking waste to designated collection areas.
• Monitoring stocks of cleaning materials and arranging replenishment through the office.
• Keeping the company van, equipment and cleaning storage areas tidy and secure.
• Reporting maintenance defects, damage, safety concerns and vehicle or equipment faults promptly.
• Completing cleaning records and keeping the office informed of progress and any access issues.
• Following health and safety procedures, using cleaning products correctly and displaying warning signs where required.
• Dealing courteously and professionally with building users, colleagues and site contacts.
