A nanny agency is seeking a reliable and proactive full-time nanny in Aspley Guise, England, starting January 2026. The role involves caring for a nearly two-year-old girl, providing a nurturing environment with educational and stimulating activities. Candidates must have childcare experience, a clean driving license, and be willing to commit long-term. Pay starts from £40,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Starting in January 2026, a wonderful full-time nanny position has become available in Aspley Guise, Bedfordshire. The family is extremely friendly, both parents are professionals in demanding careers, and they share a love of travel, fitness and history. They also have two miniature Dachshund dogs who are part of the family. They have a regular dog walker, but a dog lover is required. The family is looking for a kind, nurturing and positive nanny who can stay long term and become part of their happy family. The ideal candidate will also be reliable, proactive and responsible.
This is a sole charge role caring for one delightful little girl who is nearly two years old. She is a happy, active child who loves to be busy.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00. If any additional hours are ever required, it will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their little girl to learn and develop in a balanced way, supporting her developmental milestones with a mix of educational and stimulating indoor activities (story time, sensory play, singing, age-appropriate games and activities, playtime etc.) and plenty of outdoor play in the garden and trips to the park. The little girl is screen free. The little girl currently attends local groups and activities in the mornings which you would need to attend with her, such as music class, baby ballet etc. The family also has annual passes to Woburn Safari Park and 360 Play for child-led excursions.
You must be a confident and careful driver with a clean licence. A car will be provided for use during working hours.
The family employs a weekly cleaner, so the role will focus on interacting with the little girl and some nursery duties. Typical nursery duties include:
Knowledge and experience of toddlers and toddler development is essential.
An additional language of French or Italian is a bonus (as these are dad’s first languages), but is not essential.
