Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a Kitchen Porter for 14Forty in Birmingham on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You’ll maintain cleanliness, support the kitchen and help deliver high-quality dishes while supporting a fast-paced service.

The role emphasises adaptability, strong communication, reliability, and teamwork, with progression opportunities and a focus on learning and development within a large, respected hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety standards.
• Adaptable and able to communicate clearly.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean and well organised at all times.
• Assist with preparing fresh food in a busy kitchen.
• Ensure chefs have what they need to prepare dishes.
• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality food.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and maintain brand standards.
• Follow Food Handling and Health & Safety regulations.
