Lap of Love is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care in the Mid‑Hudson Valley region, including Warwick and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on compassionate client communication and high‑quality patient care away from a traditional clinic.

The position offers flexible schedules (3–5 days), extensive onboarding, mentorship, and various benefits designed to support work‑life balance for veterinarians committed to meaningful, in-home care.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree and licensed to practice.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in home settings.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian delivering in‑home services.
• Engage in onboarding, mentorship and ongoing professional support.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Mid-Hudson Valley, NY, including Warwick, Middletown, Port Jervis, Monroe, Newburgh, New Windsor, New City, NY and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.
