Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney from September. This full-time role is based in the Early Years and will support children across the EYFS with play-based learning, indoors and outdoors.

The role offers a daily rate of 100 per day, rising to 124 per day after 12 qualifying weeks, and runs for the full academic year. SANZA provides professional development opportunities and ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in Early Years or Reception.
• Patient, caring and committed to helping young children succeed.
• Good understanding of child development and learning through play.
• Confident supporting indoors and outdoors.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Available for full-time role for the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the EYFS curriculum.
• Work with individuals, groups and the class.
• Promote language, social development and independence.
• Support learning through structured play and practical activities.
• Assist with routines, transitions and classroom organisation.
