Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children looked after and adopted, and support their parents / carers and professionals.
  • Provide training to carers, adopters and professionals on attachment, developmental trauma, therapeutic parenting and more.
  • Work closely with social workers, NHS, care providers and multidisciplinary teams across Lancashire.
  • Support the child main caregiver and other professionals in care planning.
Qualifications
  • We welcome an enthusiastic practitioner with experience working with children looked after and adopted, and a therapeutic background.
  • Experience with attachment theory, systemic practice, and therapeutic principles.
  • Knowledge of Dyadic Developmental Practice and PACE.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-aware, reflective, compassionate practitioner.
