A care service provider in Sudbury is looking for a Team Leader to guide a new support team for a young man in independent living. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality support, coordinating staff, and ensuring the well-being of the individual. The ideal candidate will have experience in care settings, understand Autism and ADHD, and be an excellent communicator. Competitive hourly rate with various benefits is offered.
In October 2025, we launched our first supported living service in Sudbury. Following its success, we're now preparing to welcome a second individual into their own bespoke property. We're recruiting a Team Leader to build, guide, and inspire a new support team around this young man ("I") as he transitions into his own home. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new service from the ground up, combining hands‑on support with leadership and coordination responsibilities to ensure safe, consistent, and person‑centred care delivery. About "I" "I" is a bright, active young man who thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys community‑based activities and benefits from calm, consistent support. At times, he may experience anxiety or display behaviours that challenge, including verbal or physical aggression or self‑injurious behaviour. The ideal Team Leader will be compassionate, resilient, and confident in maintaining professional boundaries, using positive behaviour support (PBS) to guide "I" toward greater independence and emotional regulation. Due to the nature of his support needs, the team is predominantly male; however, applications are welcome from all genders.
