• Position: Hygiene and Housekeeping Specialist

• Hourly Rate: £13.65
• Working Pattern: Full‑time 8am‑4pm, 5 day rotating pattern including weekends.
• Driving Required: Yes, the role is not accessible via public transport so the right candidate would need to get to the remote location.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team, focusing on cleaning within a Cat unit that upholds very stringent cleanliness standards and processes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a sterile and organised environment that supports our life science initiatives. This unique area of working means the right person will hold a responsibility to maintain the standards expected in a Barrier unit housing our feline friends.

Therefore the right person must be comfortable around Cats and the handling of them.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of designated areas within the Cat unit.
• Adhere to strict cleaning protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and properly stored.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding cleanliness to management promptly.
