Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer II, Full-Stack, to build React-based user interfaces and backend capabilities across web and B2B experiences. You will contribute to configurable components and platform capabilities, while collaborating with product management, backend teams, and brand teams to drive high-quality travel experiences.

Qualifications

Approximately 2-3 years of software development experience.
Experience developing with React and full-stack capabilities.
Experience with Kotlin backend development; Java/Scala as alternative.
Experience developing and integrating APIs.
Familiarity with component libraries and design systems.

Responsibilities

Develop React-based user interfaces and backend capabilities.
Build, integrate, and contribute to API design decisions.
Own features from understanding requirements through delivery, with support from teammates and product management.
Collaborate with product management, backend and domain service teams, platform teams, and brand teams.
Create reusable and configurable components and platform capabilities.
Contribute to improvements across Expedia Group web, iOS, Android, and B2B experiences.
Support rollout of server-driven UI and migrate traffic from legacy systems.
