Job summary

SF Technology Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking a Full Stack Data Engineer to join a hybrid team building enterprise-scale data platforms, APIs, and scalable pipelines across cloud-native stacks.

You will work across software, data and cloud engineering in a modern enterprise environment, with award-winning training and progression through up to four promotions per year, plus dedicated time for self-improvement and certification.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines at an enterprise scale (Airflow, Spark).
• Experience developing APIs and microservices to expose data (Java, Python).
• Experience building data lakes, data warehouses or real-time streaming solutions.
• Cloud-native development with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD using GitHub and ArgoCD.
• Cloud experience across AWS and Azure.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data pipelines across the stack.
• Develop APIs and microservices to expose client data.
• Build scalable data platforms, lakes/warehouses and streaming solutions.
• Collaborate on cloud-native software using Docker/Kubernetes.

Job description

Full Stack Data Engineer with a proven track record of building enterprise, highly scalable data platforms is sought on hybrid basis by a market leading software house (offices across the UK).

You will work across the full technology stack, developing APIs and building scalable data pipelines whilst helping deliver highly available, secure and scalable platforms in this enterprise environment.

This Full Stack Data Engineer should have most of the following key skills:

• Strong commercial experience designing and implementing data pipelines at an enterprise scale – Airflow, Apache spark etc
• Experience developing API’s and microservices to expose data – Java, Python etc
• Experience building data lakes, data warehouses and/or real-time streaming solutions would be a real plus
• Cloud-native development experience within Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD experience using GitHub and ArgoCD
• Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
• Database experience, ideally PostgreSQL
