Job summary

Copello is recruiting a Full Stack Software Developer for a Defence company in London. The role is on-site 4 to 5 days per week, with one day from a client office. The day rate is £750 to £780 inside IR35.

The contract is 6 months and involves work across AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Big Data, and Digital Transformation to shape mission-critical solutions in a fast-changing threat environment. You will leverage Python/Java/Golang/JavaScript/C++, React/Vue/Angular, and cloud technologies to deliver

Qualifications

• Programming experience in Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript, or C++.
• Front-end framework experience: React, VueJS, or AngularJS.
• Experience with web solutions such as Node.js, Nginx, Caddy, or Uvicorn.
• Relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with cloud platforms AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Scripting with Bash or PowerShell.
• Ability to learn quickly and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
• Highest level of government clearance, BPSS check completed.

Requirements

• Experience with at least one front-end framework: React, VueJS, or AngularJS
• Experience with web solutions such as Node.js, Nginx, Caddy, or Uvicorn
• Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker, Podman, and K8s
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell
• Ability to learn quickly and adopt cutting-edge technologies and paradigms
• Must hold the highest level of government clearance, with a BPSS check also completed
