Job summary

SmartSourcing Ltd, a provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions, seeks a capable developer to build and maintain web sites and applications. You will work closely with the WMS Development Manager in a small team, taking ownership of full life cycle development and supporting multiple projects in a logistics-focused environment.

The role requires strong skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and experience with REST APIs and security.

Qualifications

• Experience of web and application development ideally in a 3PL environment.
• Clear and concise communication; interpersonal, organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Full Life Cycle Development and support of current and future application; provide fixes or workarounds.
• Maintain source control and ensure code is checked in and up to date.
• Support other developers with development of applications or team-based enhancements.
• Manage Solar Winds Service Desk system and reallocate tasks as needed.
• Handle change requests for CIA, identify issues and liaise with team.
• Research software programs or techniques for improvements or future development.
• Monitor performance and reliability of applications for secure end-user experience.
