Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Full-Stack/GitOps Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join a high-performing technology team. The role focuses on modern frontend and backend development, API gateways, and GitOps-driven delivery for scalable, secure cloud-native applications.

Open to B2B or FTC arrangements. Strong background in API gateways (Kong, Envoy, Akamai/CloudFront), schema-driven design, and CLI-driven workflows will be essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for backend engineering.
• Experience building dynamic UI/services from OpenAPI or JSON Schema.
• Experience configuring API gateways (Kong, Envoy, Akamai/CloudFront) including routes, services, upstreams and plugins.
• Hands-on GitOps-based delivery—author intent to PR to merge with automated rollback on failure.
• Comfort with CLI-driven and code-editor workflows for gateway onboarding and configuration as code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable, secure, cloud-native applications and platforms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and delivery pipelines with GitOps practices.
