Job summary

Blink is hiring full-stack engineers to join the Rapid Delivery team in London (in office 3 days a week). You’ll work primarily with TypeScript, React and Node, building features for customers and internal use, with opportunities to contribute to Java, Scala, iOS and Android as you grow.

You’ll collaborate with Product Support, tackle 3rd line issues, and continuously improve tooling and processes to boost efficiency and scalability while delivering high-quality code and supporting customers

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express and SQL.
• Experience with a statically typed backend language such as Java or Scala, and an interest in native mobile contributions.
• Strong investigation and problem-solving skills, ability to root cause complex issues.
• Ability to learn on the job, work independently and ask the right questions.
• Track record of writing clean, testable, maintainable code and improving the codebase.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications, integrations and internal tools using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express and SQL, while also contributing to Java, Scala, iOS and Android
• Work closely with Product Support to build tools that help resolve issues quickly and independently
• Investigate and resolve complex 3rd line support issues across the platform
• Identify ways to improve processes, practices and tooling with a focus on efficiency and scalability
• Provide clear technical guidance across the company and work directly with customers when needed to understand and solve problems
