Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a skilled full‑stack engineer to work across core platforms and data products used by thousands of clients in education. You’ll own complex product development and help shape engineering practices across a team.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering and QA to build and scale services, develop APIs, and apply Python, React and SQL across the stack, delivering well-architected and maintainable solutions with a focus on testing and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Full-stack experience, from database through to UI.
• Experience designing and building APIs/services.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY, Clean Code and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and QA colleagues.
• Build and scale front-end and back-end services.
• Develop APIs and data-driven product experiences.
• Work with Python, React and SQL across the stack.
