Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional developer experience.
• Full permanent right to work in the UK.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, services and ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud infrastructure involvement.
• Proficiency with Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs, services, and ETL pipelines using Java and Python.
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure, data modeling, testing, and system performance (logs, alerts, monitoring).
• Work with DevOps, data scientists, and product managers on greenfield designs and legacy code.
• Backend development with Java/Spring Boot, Python, and Postgres.
• Frontend work with Vue.js or React and cloud operations.
