Job summary

LanceSoft UK is seeking a versatile software engineer with strong backend experience in C# and/or Java, complemented by solid ReactJS frontend skills. You will design and support APIs and microservices, while keeping data stores such as Oracle and Couchbase in focus.

You'll work with messaging systems like Kafka, ActiveMQ, and AmazonMQ, and you’ll apply observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to keep production healthy.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with C# and/OR Java (ideally both).
• Strong frontend experience with ReactJS.
• Experience building and supporting APIs / microservices.
• Working knowledge of databases (Oracle, Couchbase).
• Experience with messaging / event-driven systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, AmazonMQ).
• Familiarity with observability tooling (logs, metrics, alerting – e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g. Concourse, Git-based workflows).
• Experience debugging and supporting production systems.
