Job summary

Infused Solutions Ltd, a London-based early-stage AI startup, seeks a senior software engineer to own end-to-end features across the stack. You will build production-grade software, shape architecture, and collaborate with founders to steer the product roadmap.

The role emphasizes delivering across backend, frontend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, using TypeScript, React and Node.js, and leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years commercial software engineering experience.
• Hands-on full-stack with no significant frontend or backend bias.
• Recent experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Proven track record delivering production software.
• Ownership of features from development to production.
• Familiar with AI coding tools and modern development practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and architecture.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms and CI/CD.
• Startup/early-stage experience desirable.
• Experience with AI/cloud tooling (Vertex AI, LLMs, Docker, AWS, GCP) advantageous.
• Interest in modern AI engineering and cloud-native development.

Salary: £120,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with no significant frontend or backend bias.
• Recent, hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production software.
• Experience taking ownership of projects and features from development through to production.
• Regular use of modern AI coding/development tools, such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and architecture.
• Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.
• Previous experience working within a startup or early-stage technology business is highly desirable.
• Experience with one or more of Vertex AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Microservices, Event-driven architecture, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be highly advantageous.
• Strong interest in modern AI engineering and cloud-native development would be highly beneficial.

We are a small, high-performing team of fewer than 10 people, moving quickly and building towards our next stage of growth and investment. This is a London-based permanent role with 4 days per week in the office, offering a salary of £120,000 - £150,000.
