Job summary

Queen Square Recruitment is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a growing technology team in Wokingham. You will design, develop and deploy cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure using .NET Core, C#, React and Azure DevOps.

You will work closely with architects, DevOps and development colleagues to deliver scalable, reliable software, optimise performance and automate deployments, with emphasis on security and data processing.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years' software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure, .NET Core, C#, React, REST APIs, SQL and cloud services.
• Experience with AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of authentication and security technologies including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, React, and Azure.
• Build and support scalable cloud solutions using AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Azure AD.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Implement and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployments.
• Write unit tests and contribute to high-quality, maintainable code.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Optimise SQL queries and application performance.
• Document technical decisions and application workflows.
• Support live production environments and ongoing platform improvements.

• Experience with CI/CD, application monitoring, and production support.
• Knowledge of authentication and security technologies including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and RBAC.
• Strong SQL and database optimisation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, security, monitoring, containers, and identity services.
• Knowledge of Azure AD B2C, PowerShell, Git, ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Familiarity with GRIB, NETCDF, Parquet, and JSON data formats.
