Job summary

Annapurna in Manchester is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join a collaborative team delivering bespoke digital solutions. Work across C#/.NET, SQL Server, React and CMS platforms Umbraco/Kentico in a hybrid model with two days in-office per week.

You will contribute to front-end and back-end development, APIs, testing, and CI/CD, while learning and growing with a supportive agency environment. Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial full stack development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server.
• Ability to work across front-end and back-end, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET and .NET Core.
• Build and integrate APIs with SQL Server databases.
• Create responsive front-end with JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Work with Umbraco and Kentico CMS platforms.
• Collaborate in small agile teams to deliver client projects.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD processes.
• Understand client requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of your work while expanding your knowledge.

The Opportunity

Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

You'll work within a small, collaborative team, contributing to the development of digital solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies.

Working closely with developers, project teams and clients, you'll help turn requirements into practical, high-quality functionality. You'll be involved throughout the development lifecycle, from building new features through to testing, deployment and ongoing improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining web applications using C#, Microsoft .NET and .NET Core.

• Building and integrating APIs and working with SQL Server databases.

• Creating engaging, responsive front-end experiences using JavaScript, TypeScript and React.

• Working with content management systems, particularly Umbraco and Kentico.

• Collaborating within small, agile development teams to deliver projects for a varied client base.

• Participating in code reviews, testing and continuous integration and deployment processes.

• Working with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

• Taking ownership of your work while continually developing your technical knowledge.
  

What We’re Looking For

We're interested in developers with approximately 2-5 years of commercial experience who are comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development.

Ideally, you’ll bring experience with several of the following:

• C# and Microsoft .NET / .NET Core.

• ASP.NET MVC and Web API.

• SQL Server and database development.

• JavaScript and TypeScript.

• React or other modern front-end frameworks.

• HTML, CSS and SASS.

• Umbraco, Kentico or another content management system.

• Git or other source control platforms.

• Unit testing, automated testing and CI/CD practices.

You’ll also need:

• A relevant degree, ideally at 2:1 level or above.

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering quality work.

• The ability to manage changing priorities and work across multiple projects.

• A genuine interest in learning new technologies and developing your career.

Previous experience working within a digital agency, software consultancy or client-focused development environment would be particularly advantageous.
