Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business is seeking a Senior Frontend UI Engineer in London to help build sophisticated, data-intensive interfaces used by Portfolio Managers, Traders, Researchers and Analysts.
You will work directly with end users, gather requirements, and translate complex investment workflows into high-performance UIs, with ownership over architecture and the product experience.
If you're a frontend engineer who wants to get closer to the people using what you build, this could be an interesting one.
I'm working with a leading systematic fund looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build sophisticated, data-intensive interfaces used directly by Portfolio Managers, Traders, Researchers and Analysts.
This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a product team and turn Figma designs into React components.
You'll work directly with the end users, understand what they're trying to achieve, gather requirements and turn complex investment workflows and datasets into intuitive, high-performance UIs.
The technical bar is high too. I'm looking for someone who understands what's happening under the hood, not just someone who knows their way around React. You'll be working with large datasets, real-time information and scalable web applications, with the opportunity to influence architecture and how the product is built.
The ideal background could be a data-intensive fund or investment bank, or a strong technology company with engineers who have excellent CS fundamentals and a deep understanding of the systems behind the UI.
If you're a strong frontend engineer who wants to move beyond building standard web applications and work on something far more closely connected to the investment process, I'd be interested in speaking.
