Job summary

Dex is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join a leading algorithmic market maker's product engineering team. You will build a core institutional client platform from scratch, handling market data, order flow, and real-time UI.

You'll own features end-to-end, design high-throughput services in Go or Python, render real-time streaming with React/TypeScript, and manage AWS-based infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems across backend and frontend.
• Backend in Go or Python with high-throughput REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Deep proficiency with TypeScript, React and real-time streaming data in the browser.
• Ownership of relational schema design, queries, and cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship a greenfield client platform end-to-end across the entire customer lifecycle.
• Design resilient backend services and APIs in Go or Python for high-frequency data and live order flow.
• Build high-density, real-time web apps in TypeScript and React with WebSocket streams.
• Design relational schemas, optimize queries, and enforce security standards for auth, data isolation.
• Own production code, managing AWS, containers, CI/CD, and monitoring.

The role

A leading algorithmic market maker providing core liquidity across digital asset markets globally, operating at institutional scale across centralised and decentralised venues. The firm pairs high-frequency trading performance standards with the autonomy and deployment velocity of a tight, engineering-first team.

You will join the product engineering team to build a core institutional client platform from scratch, alongside internal trading tools and client portals. This is complete vertical ownership - modelling market data, writing performant Go or Python services, and rendering low-latency WebSocket streams in React - not skinning templates or gluing together third-party SaaS tools.

The work

• Architect and ship a greenfield client platform from the ground up, owning features end to end across the entire customer lifecycle.
• Design and implement resilient backend services and APIs in Go or Python, handling high-frequency market data and live order flow.
• Build high-density, real-time web applications in TypeScript and React that cleanly handle WebSocket data streaming directly to the browser.
• Design robust relational schemas, optimize complex queries, and enforce institutional security standards around authentication, authorization, and data isolation.
• Own your code in production, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and active monitoring.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems across both backend services and modern frontends.
• Strong backend fundamentals in Go or Python, with hands‑on experience designing high-throughput REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Deep proficiency with TypeScript, React, and rendering real-time streaming data cleanly in the browser.
• Demonstrated ownership of relational schema design, query optimization, and production cloud infrastructure on AWS or equivalent major clouds.
