Job summary

Wheely in West London is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to help build privacy-first systems and architectures. You will work across the stack using React, TypeScript, and Node.js or Golang, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape technical solutions from concept through production.

The role offers hybrid work with an office-based four-day week and one remote day, salary £81,000–£99,000, stock options, and relocation/visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Frontend Engineer with backend experience.
• Commercial experience with Node.js or Golang is nice to have.
• Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript, React, React Query, Redux or alternative state management libraries.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern browser APIs.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Vite/Webpack, ESLint, and package managers such as npm/pnpm).
• Experience with automated testing (Playwright, Selenium, Jest or snapshot tests).
• STEM (technical) degree.

• Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript, React, React Query, Redux or alternative state management libraries (e.g. MobX).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern browser APIs.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Vite/Webpack, ESLint, and package managers such as npm/pnpm).
• Experience with automated testing, such as end-to-end tests (Playwright, Selenium), UI/Component tests (e.g. using Jest), or snapshot tests.
• STEM (technical) degree.
