Job summary

NearTech Search in South-East London is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to work across Vue.js, Laravel and PHP on a high-availability, multi-tenant platform.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in office) with a real hand in shaping architecture as the product scales, and a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality code with autonomy in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years full-stack experience, strong across front and back end.

We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-scaling tech-led membership business in South-East London, working across Vue.js, Laravel and PHP on a high-availability, multi-tenant platform.

The business is growing quickly across multiple markets, with an in-house-built product and platform serving a large and expanding user base. It's a genuinely demanding engineering environment — regulated, high-availability, and full of interesting problems to solve at scale.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll own features end to end: Vue.js on the front end, Laravel/PHP and APIs on the back, plus a real hand in shaping the architecture as the platform expands. Expect strong autonomy, a high bar for quality, and minimal red tape.

Experience & Skill Set Needed:

• 7+ years full-stack experience, strong across front and back end
• Confident PHP / Laravel, building and maintaining APIs
• A real testing habit (Cypress a plus) and good security instincts

Desirable Experience:

payments, wallet or PSP integrations, iGaming or other regulated environments, AWS / Cloudflare, or design-system work.
