Job summary

Arrows is a fast-growing startup transforming how legal professionals work. You will build robust backend systems and contribute to a React-based frontend that makes our AI features easy to use.

You’ll collaborate with the founders to translate customer feedback into technical priorities, help architect scalable foundations, and help grow a world-class engineering team. Speed, ownership and clear communication are essential as we scale globally.

Qualifications

What You’ll Own

• Scale the Foundations: Architect and build the core, scalable backend foundations from the ground up to support a massive global market.


• Human-Centric UI: Collaborate on the planning and iteration of our React-based front-end to ensure our complex AI systems are intuitive and widely adopted.


• Product Roadmap: Partner with the founders to extract insights from customer feedback and translate them into technical reality.

Must-Haves

• Expert Python Skills: Deep experience building robust, production-ready backend systems.


• Database Mastery: Strong experience with PostgreSQL.


• Full-Stack Capability: Comfortable navigating both the back-end and modern front-end frameworks.


• Clear Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs.

Preferred & Nice-to-Haves

• Frontend: Experience with TypeScript and React.


• Scaling: A track record of building and scaling commercial-grade software.


• The Extras: Experience with WYSIWYG editor APIs (TinyMCE/CKEditor), AWS DevOps, IT Security, or AI integration.
