IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join a high-impact digital product engineering practice. You’ll design and deliver secure cloud-native applications across diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to solve real-world challenges while advancing your technical and consulting career.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience developing full-stack applications.
Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.
Experience developing back-end services using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Spring Boot or Python.
Experience developing and consuming APIs and integration services.
Experience working with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Your Role And Responsibilities

We're looking for experienced Full Stack Developers to join IBM Consulting FutureNow and help deliver mission‑critical solutions for some of the UK's most complex and interesting technology programmes.

As part of our Digital Product Engineering practice, you'll work within multidisciplinary Agile teams to design, build, test and deploy secure cloud‑native applications. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, technologies and domains, helping clients solve real‑world challenges whilst continuing to develop your own technical and consulting skills.

This is a hands‑on engineering role for developers who enjoy building modern applications, solving technical problems and working collaboratively with both colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, taking ownership of technical delivery whilst helping to drive engineering excellence within your team.

You Will

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
