Job summary

Cantarus in Manchester is seeking graduate developers who are strong in both back-end and front-end development, and who can quickly join a busy team building a wide range of digital solutions for high-profile clients worldwide.

You will learn through CPD, work on projects soon after joining, and contribute to code quality, testing, and continuous integration in a supportive environment. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model and extensive training.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a 2:1 or higher degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable university
  • C# .NET, Java or Other Object-Oriented experience
  • SQL or other database experience
  • HTML & CSS
  • Git and/or Source Control
  • Front-end & Back-end (Unit) Testing
  • Ability to adapt to a high-pressure, reactive working environment

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop web solutions for 100+ clients
  • Full-stack development on Microsoft .NET technology platforms & SQL Server
  • Development using the latest front-end technologies including React and TypeScript
  • Work with leading .NET-based content management systems e.g. Umbraco & Kentico
  • Work in small, agile teams on a project-by-project basis
  • Maintain code quality across the business with 360 code reviews, E2E testing, and CI/CD
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for reference by our internal team and customers

  • Working within our Client Success & Service Desk Teams, supporting and developing web solutions for our 100+ clients,

What to expect with the role:

Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive & negotiable based on experience Working hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday (Core hours 10:00am - 4:00pm) Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus public holidays, and your birthday (or closest working day) off. We also offer the opportunity to purchase up to 5 additional holidays per year Reporting in to: Brendan Killough
