Join Our Team

As part of our IM&T Build Team, you’ll work across the full development lifecycle designing, building, and maintaining innovative applications, integrations, and data solutions that improve how we deliver healthcare. Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across our business to enhance systems, automate processes, and ensure our digital infrastructure supports our mission: to make healthcare better for everyone.

Here’s a look at what you’ll be doing (full details are in the job description):

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, .NET applications, Power Apps, and integrations.
  • Create and optimise ETL processes and T‑SQL queries to support data flows and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system enhancements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automation and analytics products to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate systems using APIs and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Mentor and support other Developers and Associate Developers in the Build Team.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, contributing to innovation and best practice within IM&T.
About You

We’re looking for a technically skilled and curious Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and seeing the impact of their work. You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience developing with C# and the .NET framework
  • Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, T‑SQL, and performance optimisation
  • Experience creating and integrating APIs
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
It Would Also Be Great If You Have
  • Experience in a healthcare or NHS environment
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, or tools like SSIS
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of NHS data standards or clinical reporting requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
