Placements24 is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer to join a growing fintech startup in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA. You will work across the stack, from UI design to server-side logic and database management, in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, proficiency in frontend HTML5/CSS3/JS and a modern JS framework, plus strong backend language experience and database know-how. Hybrid work means a mix of remote and in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a modern JS framework.
• Strong experience with backend development languages (Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java.
