Job summary

Lotus IT Services is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain both client-side and server-side components of web applications.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, implement secure APIs, and deploy applications to cloud platforms. A strong background in front-end and back-end tech and Agile experience is required.

Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
Experience building responsive web apps for multiple devices and browsers.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and security practices.
Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Develop front-end architecture using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Design responsive apps compatible with multiple devices and browsers.
Build and maintain server-side apps with Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or .NET.
Create and manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for integration.
Implement authentication, authorization, and data encryption security measures.
Review code, test, debug, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers for seamless integration.
Participate in Agile sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Document code and maintain technical docs.
Deploy apps to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Stay updated with emerging tech and best practices.

Position Overview

Full Stack Developer is a software engineer who designs, develops, and maintains both client-side and server-side components of web applications. This role requires proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and databases to deliver end-to-end solutions. Full Stack Developers work across the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, and often collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop front-end website architecture using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
Design and implement responsive web applications compatible with multiple devices and browsers
Build and maintain server-side applications using backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, .NET)
Create and manage databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration
Implement security measures including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization for application performance
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of all components
Participate in Agile development processes including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Document code and maintain technical documentation
Deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
