Job summary

Ensignbus in Purfleet is seeking a Fueller to join the depot team for 3 days per week, with Saturday, Sunday and Monday night shifts from 16:00 to 03:25. You will fuel buses and other authorised vehicles, maintain fluids and support a busy fleet in a safety-conscious environment.

Working with a small team, you will help ensure the fleet is fuelled to meet service requirements and that all safety and engineering regulations are followed.

Qualifications

• 3 days per week – Sat, Sun and Mon
• Ability to work as a team
• Some bus knowledge would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Fuelling buses and other authorised vehicles within the depot
• Check and top up all ancillary fluids and ensure bodywork and lights are functioning
• Work as part of a team to fuel the fleet to meet service requirements and process through the bus wash
• Maintain compliance with health and safety and engineering regulations

About Ensignbus:

We are an award winning business with 50 years experience in Bus Sales, Service Work, Sightseeing Tours, Bus Conversions and Restorations. Ensignbus was formed in 1972, since which time it has been involved in many aspects of the bus industry. In the early days a number of small contracts were operated for people such as the Port of London Authority and Lesney the toy manufactures. These small operations however became secondary to the role which Ensign has today made its own, that of buying and selling high quality used buses and coaches.

Pay Rate:

£13.47 per hour with overtime at £14.71

About The Role:

• Fuelling buses: Fuel buses and other authorised vehicles withing the depot
• Maintenance:Checkandtopupallancillaryfluidsasappropriate,andensurebodyworkconditionandlightsfunctionsarefunctioning.
• Teamwork:Workaspartofateam,ensuringthefleetisfuelledtomeetservicerequirementsandprocessingthroughthebuswash.
• Safety:ComplywithallHealthandSafetyandEngineeringlegislation,andmaintainanddeveloptechnicalskillsasrequired.
