Job summary

Crown Oil Limited in Bury is seeking a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver / Fuel Tanker Driver for a hands-on, multi-drop role based at our Bury depot. The role involves delivering to domestic and commercial customers across South Manchester and the North West, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will comply with ADR, petroleum and company safety procedures, perform vehicle checks, and maintain delivery documentation while delivering a professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-drop tanker deliveries.
• Valid Class 2/C licence and ADR Tanks qualification.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card holder.
• Physically capable of demanding multi-drop deliveries.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive an 18-tonne, 4-wheel rigid fuel tanker.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to domestic and commercial customers.
• Safely operate and handle fuel delivery equipment.
• Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks and complete paperwork.

Job description

We are recruiting a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver / Fuel Tanker Driver for a hands-on, physically demanding multi-drop delivery role based out of our Bury depot. This position involves multi-drop fuel deliveries to domestic and commercial customers across South Manchester and the North West.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Driving an 18-tonne, 4-wheel rigid fuel tanker
• Completing multi-drop fuel deliveries to domestic and commercial customers
• Safely handling and operating fuel delivery equipment
• Carrying out daily vehicle and safety checks
• Completing delivery documentation accurately
• Following ADR, petroleum and company safety procedures at all times
• Providing a professional and helpful service to customers

What You'll Need

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous multi drop tanker driving experience
• Class 2 / Category C driving licence
• ADR qualification including Tanks
• Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A strong understanding of safe driving and delivery procedures
• The ability to undertake a physically demanding, multi-drop role
• Good customer service and communication skills
